in the physical sense you just dont interact with them. if you catch yourself interacting with them, stop. if you dont realize it til after the fact, it just makes it easier to remember next time.

if you mean in the psychological sense, you dont. unless you find something meaningful to occupy your time, your mind will wander where it wants to wander, which is often girls.

Again, it's not about being single. I want to be single. I don't want a relationship at all. I guess it's me wanting the potential of relationships by winning affections and attention. I mean, I have flirtatious tendencies because a) it's pretty fun for me, and b) flirting is kind of part of the normal social dialogue among people like that. I could stop altogether, but I do need to maintain some connection to these people considering how much I work with them, and in some cases how intimate the kind of work is (when it comes to the acting work).

I do have the goals and dreams, but we run into issues of me doing some of those for the attention of girls (even though they are what I want) and the fact that I do have some free time to let my mind wander back to those thoughts.

I'm putting forth of case of having cake and eating it too, but it doesn't seem to be impossible to be able to casually flirt, not want to be involved in romantic shit, and be personally fulfilled enough to not take so much stock in the approval of others.
