I don't know why but I feel really inauthentic when complimenting women. Like I'm trying to force it. Am I supposed to even straight up call a girl cute? I pulled that today and it felt weird and didn't go over well.

Complimenting a girl's looks out of nowhere can make you look creepy at best and just interested in their looks at best.

If you want to take the route of compliments, say something nice about her clothes or jewelry of something. It's less creepy.
