Once upon a time if you were upset or disappointed with life people told you to wake the fuck up to yourself and do something about it.

tfw you're an aussie teen and your friends group consists of depressed (mostly)dropouts/kicked with completely fucked families and lifestyles, a solid half will probably be dead by 30. Yet most are pretty intelligent underneath it all and I feel could be people that contribute greatly to society, given different circumstances. I don't really know anyone my age who is mentally stable, simply a nice person and healthy to be around. Actually, I wonder if I know anyone even close to that..I don't think so.
