Is Tinder a good way to meet a potential girlfriend? If so, what are some ways to make myself stand out? The last time I had one a year ago I used it for three weeks and got no matches.
bump for interest

People in tinder are looking to fuck, so not really. Unless you're into used up sluts.
>Is Tinder a good way to meet a potential girlfriend
no

Be 10/10
>The last time I had one a year ago I used it for three weeks and got no matches
since you're probably not 10/10, this is not surprising.

I'm about a 7/10 so I guess that's out, but I don't know what else there is to try, I'm pretty much out of ideas for dating. I don't know any girls in my circle of friends I'd like to date, and my hobbies and interests are pretty much guy only stuff.

M8 I'm a 6 on a really good day and have no problem getting matches.

I use tinder for dating as well. Depends if the guy is boyfriend material or ons material.

Is there anything that's important to put in the bio? Last time I used it it just had my age and the college I'm going to.
no online dating is good to meet anyone for that purpose. It's 100% damaged goods and people looking for easy fucks.
Think about it, if someone was mentally stable, a good/fun person to be around, and good looking too why on earth would they need online dating? They can just go outside and find a date.
The only people who use online dating have some sort of mental defect that they're too fucking insecure to date or they're the opposite and fucking sociopaths just looking to use people for their own benefit.

tinder is the digital equivalent of a shitty bar. No, ever single last woman on tinder is a whore.
>>17547384
Yes, if you get lucky. I've been with a tinder girl for 8 months now.
>>17547384
Yes, but it's not a huge chance. Been dating a girl for a bit over a year from it
How's using Tinder different from standing at the corner?
I always see Tinder like those hooker-windows in Amsterdam.
Well it worked for me. Been with my current gf for almost a year. And we still have lots of fun. I'd say it entirely depends on you and the person in question.

What are your hobbies/interests ?
You can have luck and find a good girl. It cost nothing to try.
>>17547384
Not OP but considering using tinder. I know someone very happy with a woman who he met over it so i want to try.
I am a 5'4 Asian and was wondering how I should go about building a profile. I have a job, a degree and masters and love literature. Truth be told though I am nerdy.
But how to do this well or sell it over tinder? Also how many pictures and of what? Besides me ofc.
Also how to avoid fake or sketchy profiles?

I'm like a 5/6 and I used Tinder and matched with a girl straight away. Ended up being my gf for a few months then she ended it for no real reason. As much as I hate to say it, there's a lot to what >>17547758 was saying. She was like a 7 though, I just got lucky because she found me attractive, she really liked beards.
Anyway I still think tinders worth it, I see plenty of decent grils (I never match with them though). It's worth trying anyway, you've nothing to lose.
