How do I deal with an irritating kid sitting next to me in class? He's obnoxious and seems to like invading my personal space. He's about 20 and acts like he's bi-polar with ADHD or something.
I don't think simply asking "Could you not be a cunt please" is going to cut it, and I'd rather not threaten him with violence as I wouldn't want to follow through and be removed from class; nor do i like the idea of confrontation, should he step up.
I'd move seats, but there are none spare.

Any diplomatic way I can handle this?

This is what you do. Let him act like a stupid dipshit in class, ask him to come with you after class to a nice quiet location you won't be bothered. Then tell the guy that you are there to learn and not fuck around. You don't appreciate his behavior and that you want him to knock it off. Don't look away and be dead serious with a stoic stance. Let him know that you don't want him to get in your personal space and that you are sick of it.
