yo /adv/ got myself into a sticky situation need an alibi
so I had 10k to buy books and a laptop for my UNI. I bought the laptop, but the remaining 3k (which is actually the price of the books combined) I spent on something else, and got PDF files of the book (as I was told we dont actually have to buy them) but the thing is, the money was meant for the books.
I need to make the books that I got in PDF look like legit books, as I stated to the person that is snooping, that my books are bought in digital form.
My only actual problem is that they dont go "name of the book + pdf" in google and find out the exact same thing I "paid for".
The currency is DKK in case you were wondering why the price is so high. Any suggestions?
so far I just thought about editing the PDF files so they look different then the ones found on google? Need something more efficient? any clues?
tl;dr was supposed to buy books, didnt, said I bought them in PDF digital form, need to figure out a way to make them look legit bought? any suggestions?

Who is inquiring about your sources? If it is your debtors and they are intelligent, id est checking the publisher website for a digital download and asking for the digital (eMail) receipts then you're fucked. If it's school personnel, I wouldn't worry unless it's your professors own book. Never pirate the professors book.

7000 Danish kronor. It's about $1000US.
Print the email confirmation forms that you purchased the pdfs
Change the pdf names
Make it clear you purchased digital book and that you will show it them if they inspect the products.
