>enroll in school if you work a shit job
>start fugging average looking girls
>learn how women operate, study them, familiarize yourself with the strange and irrational female brain
>once you get comfortable talking to and interacting with females you can start pursuing more attractive ones

Honestly, just starting talking to girls. I mean, start a conversation, and if it goes well, ask to meet or something, tell them you like them, and see where it goes from there. Remember, the worst thing that can happen is rejection. Good luck!

1) Rejection is not worth being afraid of. Yes, it stings, but pining hurts worse. Yes, it's the end of that pursuit, but it's not the end of the world. You will survive. Understanding and accepting this is what people mean when they tell you to "be confident".
2) Never, EVER continue to pursue someone who has turned you down or otherwise made it clear that she is not interested. This may be even more important than the revious point, because reputations die over things like this. The last thing you want is to wreck your chances, not only with her, but with everyone she knows and everyone they know.
3) Take care of yourself: your body, yes, but also your mind, your finances, and your social life. None of these has to be perfect -it's even fine if none of them are- but it DOES need to be clear that you are not neglecting any of them.
4) Do not go out of your way to seem particularly menacing or nonthreatening. The first should go without saying, but the second may sound strange. The problem is that if you're caught doing this, it will look fake, and that will creep women out (arguably even worse than the opposite). This is what people mean when they tell you to "just be yourself".

That image is kind if a poor imitation, but it's still beautiful. Not to mention the art style was just plain better.

Nowadays it's pretty difficult to approach a female alone without some kind of plan. If you happen to see them with their girlfriends just hanging out apply this cliche technique "Oh I was hitting on your friend, but you are pretty neat person". This way you really don't ruin your chances with the girl that you would go for and both females feel flattered making for an easy icebreaker
