Well if you don't pursue it the chance of success is 0%.

1% success is better than 100% chance of misery and failure.

I work in an industry with a 98% failure rate. I wake up every morning and tell myself I'm going to be part of that 2%.

What you need is a WHY. You need something to motivate you when those hard times come. You need something to drive you and pull you back up when you fall. You need something bigger than you.

If you have the means to support yourself if your plan fails, then yeah.

I say give it a shot. I wouldn't want to look back at myself now, in the future, and wonder "what if?" Then at least you would have given it a try and wouldn't regret not giving it that chance.
