There are no study groups, in fact i don't think many of my classmates open their books outside of school. Some of them seem to be ok people though.

Join a club. If you're in a class full of men, look presentable and you'll get a lot of hitting on and maybe some orbiters. Possibly some generally cool people as well.

Find lonely people that are also new. Don't go for the creepy ones that have been alone a long time, though.
