My car can pass inspection but won't start after the inspection does that mean that any repairs done to the car will usually be small or cheap?
>>17520325
That depends. Why won't it start?
>>17520332
Nobody knows still has power
>>17520367
It could be literally anything. You're going to have to take it to someone who knows what they're doing under the hood.
>>17520325
Nah, inspection only checks shit like lights, brakes, wipers, mirrors, tires, horn, alignment but not shit like your starter, wiring which could cause it not to start.
>>17520367
It could still be your battery, the amperage it takes to turn the starter is a lot more than what your radio and lights require. Try jumping.

Jumping didn't work also didn't hear a clicking sound for a dysfunctional battery.

in the US cars need to pass a yearly safety inspection to be allowed on the roads. if it's a dodge avenger than good luck lol.
Mate, if you car won't start then it can't pass inspection.

It recently passed and now it won't start.
So it turns over?
Gimme more details, lights, mileage, year make and model

Dodge Avenger 2000 131,000 mileage it drove smoothly a few days ago. I highly doubt it's an engine issue.
new plugs?
What does it do? How does it sound? Do electrical components work? Be more descriptive, it could be a million of things

power works and electricity works. So it probably isn't the battery, just had an oil change. ignition system maybe?
