If you can spend the better part of a century as a monastic Buddhist, you might be able to get away with self immolation to demonstrate your awareness of the transient nature of this world.

That said, I wouldn't recommend it. It's more widely accepted to just die of old age and demonstrate your affectionate detachment by accepting your mortality.

Don't kill yourself and stop having the perspective of misery. Try to be a good man in every aspect of your life and deal with everything life throws at you. Stop comparing yourself to others and work towards who you think you are everyday.

Most people have the problem of thinking they are the greatest person ever but when they face reality of who they really are (due to their habits and lifestyle) they decide they are worthless because the image they want to be is so far away.

Realize becoming who you want will take a while, and most importantly enjoy the process to get there. Embrace your mistakes. It sounds corny but if you beat yourself over being a noob, being bad at something, or just in genereal mistakes you will never be good at anything.

Very few people in this world have a depression that is unbeatable (an actual chemical imbalance in the brain) but even if you are one of those people, understand that your test is harder. For some reason you were picked to be challenged more.

Look at all the nature around you and you can see animals working hard as they can, doing the job nature gave them. Do you think a bee regrets being a bee and cries about it? Does a beaver sleep in instead of building his dam?

Your life is as miserable as you make it out to be. And no matter how it's going you fail in everyway possible by killing yourself. Spiritually, logically, and religiously.
