Happened to me, but with dabs (pretty much exclusively for a few months, multiple times a day). I took a three week break, was going to take one for tolerance anyway, and was back to normal.

If the snot is yellowish or greenish and your coughing produces gunk, then you probably have some kind of allergy infection or bronchitis. Might have been brought on by a combination of allergies and smoking.
