Is there any actual way to get rid of weeds? They just keep coming

Am I the only one that thinks that pristine green lawns are ugly as hell? I like them better with dandelions

OP: you can't get rid of them without massive amounts of pesticides. Why not use them instead? You can harvest the leaves of dandelions and eat them with your salads. You can use the flowers to make wine. The roots can be roasted and brewed like coffee. They're good for digestion and are considered to have antioxidant properties. Basically, why not make the best of the situation?

"Weeds" are also very beneficial to the environment. They're great for insects (especially beneficial ones such as bees, who need all the help they can get), and can actually be very good for other flowers.
