Getting tested for ADHD tomorrow by my doctor. I'm a 21 y/o male and I have never been tested for it / been prescribed anything before.

What should I expect from the testing process? Just questions about my habits / grades / family history? How likely am I to be denied a prescription?

I think I have had it since youth but my parents vehemently insisted that I don't get tested back then. However I also understand how suspicious it is for a college age male to randomly decide he wants to be tested and medicated.
