Recently got my Associate's in business, basically a general 2 year business degree with no emphasis on where to go with it, meaning I can choose down the road if I want to get into marketing, accounting, etc.
The question is, what road should I go down? I currently have a job in low level management, and I obviously want to boost my career towards something better. The two options I like best are management and marketing. I feel like finance and accounting would be boring as shit.
I also want to know if I should wait a year before starting on my bachelor's or if I should jump right into it.
an associates in business is only good for a low level management job, the kind you could get with a year's hard work and a GED, so yes, go get that bachelors starting next semester

You'll hate marketing, trust me. Go with management if you can't get a general bachelor's. Whatever translates into a general MBA or management MBA would be best too. Marketing sucked shit trust me.

This, while you're at it OP try to stay at your retail job while in school. Take online classes if you must. The golden ticket in business is experience, and two years management with a four year business degree will help ensure you get into mid-level management. From there you can decide if you're happy where you're at or if you want to get your master's degree.
