Don't even think about it until you have read several books and used one of the dummy trading sites for a while. Without getting too technical, it is a kind of betting in which you can lose more - much more - than your original stake.

Yeah forex trading is full of ultra-hustlers who will set the game up to win. I mean they'll have trading rigs that get market data significantly faster than yours, just all kinds of fundamental advantages. It's probably the market least friendly to novices.
