Definitely don't tell someone if you like them. It's better to go through life without meaningful relationships. I've never heard anyone say they were happy they talked to a cute girl. People always look back and regret it.

Telling a girl that you have a crush on her does not get you any closer to being with her.

The exception to this is if you are gorgeous and rich, in which case telling a girl you have a crush on her makes her blush and feel nervous.

If you're just an average guy, though, telling a girl you have a crush on her might make her briefly feel good, but it simultaneously makes her completely uninterested in you, because it's completely boring for a girl to learn that an average guy is crushing on her.
