i did work out but not like a lot. but my teachers told i lose some weight so im good with that

You are average. You think you have a lot of time... it's usually after 26 or something that people start feeling like they are running out of time. That is the best motivation out there.

Procrastination is normal. If you haven't worked out much before you might be confused of what to do at a gym, which might have kept you from going. My advice is to go with someone who "knows the ropes" and can show you how to do some exercises (or just do some research online) I could even type out two separate routines for you if you needed.

A lot of people are afraid to try because they are afraid of failure IMO.

I had those ambitions for years.
Never went.

What changed me was friends.
I went with 2 other friends who were just starting out.
We went together so it wasn't embarrassing to lift just the bar.

Find friends and go with them.
Then learn to go alone.

I go on my own now. And I feel fucking great.
