Is flossing actually important? I hear that it's unnecessary but i've also heard that it is necessary. I don't know which side is right.
No matter how awesome your tooth-brushing skills are or how rad your brushing implement is, you'll probably miss a lot of stuff being stuffed in between your teeth.
Just floss once or twice a week and don't forget to rinse. As long as your gums aren't constantly bleeding/inflamed you should be A-OK

This. Flossing is very important, and it gets rid of the studf between your teeth that you miss while brushing.
Personally, I need to floss more. I already have sensitive teeth and I can't let it get worse
If you're not getting bleeding or inflamed gums you're probably okay but if you don't floss chances are you're probably going to get decomposing shit between your teeth and that's nasty, regardlss of how "healthy" your mouth is

Yeah flossing is as important as brushing. You get a ton of shit stuck between your teeth you don't even realize. I used to get cavities here and there from only brushing twice a day and not flossing. Now I floss every night along with brushing 2 time a day (morning and night) and I never get cavities.
