The good news for you is that as you grow older you will probably stop acting like such an entitled faggot just by virtue of growing up and your brain development.
In the meantime you tell yourself "my emotional response is not rational" and seek some way to calm yourself down. Meditation, CBT, whatever.

Good question, it takes a lot of will power, and a fair bit of time. When you feel like quitting at something, you just gotta kick yourself in the ass and remind yourself itll be worth it eventually.
