Barring that, use two machines, which I will call Snap and Cap. Snap logs into Snapchat, and also runs a VNC server. Cap runs a VNC client, connected to Snap.

Because of the VNC connection, Cap displays everything that Snap does, but isn't actually running Snapchat. And so when you take a screencap on Cap, Snapchat doesn't know that you took one, because you didn't (not on the machine running Snapchat anyway).

It is possible that Snapchat may have a way to detect a running VNC server, or some other form of remote display mirroring, and make the user on the other end aware that you are creeping on them. I don't know. I don't use sexting apps. But in theory, this ought to work. Defeating this would certainly imply a level of sophistication beyond mere screencap detection.
