video you linked makes good sense to me... But I already learned chemistry basics on a university prep school.

Its not the easiest topic. I'd reccomend going "as slow as necessary". If there's something you dont understand, try taking it slower. You gotta understand the basic principles before you stand a chance at the advanced ones.

Try khan and see if it makes better sense to you
