Is it stupid or too soon to get married after two years of dating

It's a little too soon. How long living together? How much do you fight over stupid, meaningless, material things?

I got married at 21. Never regretted it.

But for today standards it's odd. People keep pushing marriage years later with each generation - and not only marriage, also moving away, getting a job, etc. 30 have become in many ways the new 20. It's a shame.

No. If you know she's right for you and your only reservation is that you've been cautioned by bitter divorcees not to marry too young, you should proceed. Putting the relationship on lock actually gives you a better chance because if issues do arise, you are both likely to work harder at improving your relationship. Do you two argue much? Is it resolved at the end of the conversation? How effectively do you communicate, and how much do you share with each other? All things to consider, if there are problem areas work on them immediately, and only marry once they're resolved.

We've been living together since the start. Maybe 2 months in.
We rarely fight. We more have arguments rather than fight and yell, but never something serious.

All of my friends got married like 2-3 years into a relationship and are looking happy, having kids.
Not that marriage means that much of a great deal to me and I need it asap, but just wanted to hear opinions.

It's better than getting married at 18. I think a lot of young people rush into marriage and regret it, but there are others that don't. I think you're the only who will know if you're ready for marriage.

Be sure to think about your girlfriend though. If she's not ready/thinking about marriage right now, don't rush it and scare her off.

Okay, now take that and accept the fact that it's not going to change/go away. In fact, it's going to get even worse.

Having second thoughts? Don't irrevocably intertwine your living arrangements, finances, or social lives just yet.

If you want to stay with someone for a long time, you have to learn to love their faults as well.
