Tomorrow I am going to go on a plane and I'm terrified. I had a dream yesterday that I was in the ocean and I was wearing a safety vest. I couldn't see anyone nor the the plane, the only thing I could see was luggage and half my body. Since that dream I have felt sick, dizzy, I'm shaking and cold. I've been on planes before but its never been like this. Its only this particular flight. I fly tomorrow and I don't know what to do.
Take am ambien right when you're preboarding.

this.
You know the jokes about people being asleep on airplanes. This is why they are sleeping like a rock.
I am just like you OP. I had to fly a plane alone as well. What helped was the Lorazepam I was prescribed to me. It was pretty chill.
Should have gotten a benzo
Controlled breathing is a very effective way of reducing anxiety. You want to make your breaths long and slow, with the exhale longer than the inhale. For example: five beats in, hold for two, seven beats out.
Fast, gasping breaths activate fight-or-flight. Slower breaths and longer exhales calm the body down.
Just get on the plane, if you start getting anxious just remember god is with you and scream ALLAHU ACKBAR! gets me through all my flights

Your plane is gonna crash and I'm gonna watch a 6 o'clock news report about your downed plane due to mechanical failure and pilot error. It's not like you're gonna get ejected then free fall thirty thousand feet from above the clouds. It would be much worse, the cabin rips open and ignites the fuel causing a slow fall back to earth while burning alive.
Enjoy your flight... to heaven's gate. At least you get to die and be remembered as "that guy who died in a plane crash". I want to die everyday.
