I should clarify that the two absolutely hate each other. It's likely overreacting/paranoia, but there's a part of me that's afraid one of them will end up murdering the other eventually.
Anyway, seeking advice on what a divorce would potentially do to the household. They have three children including me, but I'm currently a sophomore in college and live at school for most of the year. Also 3 dogs. My dad is the only one that works while my mom takes care of the house. Both of them I would argue to have emotionally abused the other, but I don't know what proof of that either could possibly bring out in court. We're a middle class family with a house. Any advice on how to take things?
Pic sort of vaguely related, it's two of my puppers.

It's likely all assets including the house are divided between them and child custody arrangements agreed upon. Then, an assessment of need and income is made and the share of assets adjusted to take account of capacity to earn and the cost of providing for kids etc.
The house may or may not be sold. The court will listen to the kids if they have an opinion on living arrangements.
It'll suck ass, especially if one or both of them decide to be spiteful. Your house will be sold, your dogs will likely have to be rehomed. Your mom will likely get most of the money/assets, which seems unfair and bullshit until you realize that she currently has no way of generating income and has been out of the workforce for such a large period of time that it will be difficult for her to enter it, meaning she will burn through those assets quickly on just finding a place to life and taking care of two kids. Your siblings will probably go with her, it's possible they'll have an even split custody but that's not likely. You'll be screwed, because you're the oldest and "on your own" and neither of them will have money to help you any more. Both of them will become severely depressed, alcohol and drug abuse is likely, and when they start dating again they'll bring home lots of pieces of shit.
So yeah, enjoy op.

That doesn't sound very fun at all.
