there are no good alternatives to breastfeeding. it is absolutely the best choice for any baby, hands down.

there are alternatives that keep a baby alive, of course. but breast milk is magical stuff. women who can't produce enough of it will buy other people's milk off of craigslist even.

After one of my wife's pregnancies, the baby didn't have the correct feeding reflex, and couldn't feed. So my wife pumped for over a year, multiple times a day, every single day. The baby was still fed breastmilk, even though it was incredibly inconvenient and painful for my wife.

Part of being a parent is actually sacrificing for your kids, you know?

Stop. Take a deep breath and look at this maturely. This is a potential human being's life you're dealing with now.

It is understandable that you want an abortion for reasons regarding finance or I guess preference.

But for the sake of decency don't abort the child out of vindictiveness and spite towards your ex.

Sure. He's clearly fascinated by the prospect of having a child and although he showed himself to be overly emotional about it, the nature of it is good.

Don't abort if he's willing to take care of it. Don't jump to conclusions based on poor communications. Think of life after you do it. No matter how much you two grow up after this you will still have a deep sense of confusion and regret.

This should be a wake-up call or stepping stone fo personal development. Yes in an objective sense its 'unfair' that your ex has presented this situation even worse, but are you really going to run away from it?

A child can be cared for. Be smart and mature about this. This should be a personal test for you to prove to yourself you are capable of solving situations and applying emotional intelligence to better your life's trajectory.
