What can one look into if they are about to no longer have any friends or family by the time the holidays roll in?
I'm likely going to spend said holidays in Canada this year (if I save enough money) because I have pretty much no one to hang with anymore. As said before: no friends and family at this point. And I imagine just finding a stranger, i.e.: making new friends, simply for this purpose would be dropping quite a lot on them. Hell, it'd probably dropping too much on those you've known for years.

Kill yourself, basically. You're at the point of no return.

Should've known....
I'm also like this, except 27. Go to meetup.com and find some groups to join. There will be some with holiday parties and stuff. Even you can make friends.

I've tried meetup before, but I don't know... something about going to events and parties by myself usually resulted in some pretty emotionally draining and/or traumatizing experiences.
