I have been in a long distance relationship with a girl for 5 years. She lives in Tunisia and I live in the US.
We were making plans to visit each other this coming Christmas but she recently developed breast cancer.
The relationship has always been difficult because of the distance between us but now that the cancer has been brought into the mix things have gotten really bad.
Her health is getting worse by the day and there's a very good chance I'm never going to see her.
It has been incredibly hard on me but even worse for her. Her family life has always been bad her parents don't seem to care much about her health and they say terrible things to her.
I wish I could fly out to her and get her better treatment but I am very low on cash.
I don't know what to do about this. It's a strange feeling being far enough away to let go but still feeling emotionally attached.
It's a feeling that has worn on us both.
I don't expect everyone to understand but if you were in my shoes what would you do?
Pic unrelated
don't sweat it, she's not real anyway

She is though, we talk with face time
You have 2 options. A) Buck up get some money and fly your ass over there and make her happy before she checks out for good. B) Tell her how you feel and hope she makes it through then when you have the money go out and see her.
