So my family was paying for my school but some financial problems came up and I'm on my own for the last semester (math major, 2.5 gpa, no extra skills aside from tutoring experience).
I have one semester of college left and I want to pay it out of pocket.
I'm pretty smart and hard working, and worst case scenario I'll wait tables for the next 6 months to do it. But I'd really rather do something more technical and less shitty.
What jobs can I do / look for?

You're a student with admittedly no skills. Shitty, non technical jobs are your bread and butter
If you have no skills or experience, you'll be lucky to be able to get a job waiting tables.

Probably true. I've been looking at tutoring jobs that are 20/hr but I have to drive around everywhere and time lost + gas makes it closer to 10/hr... no way you can put yourself through school on 10/hr. I fucking hate this country.

It's 2016, not 2008. I reckon you can get a shitty restaurant job with <5 applications, and if you have a friend already working somewhere you're almost guaranteed a job.
