Greeter at a restaurant. I get little to no shit from other people as long as I smile. You just open doors, smile, and sit people at tables. I never even feel like I'm working and I'm getting paid for it.

I'm the night guard at an office building that sells medical equipment, the pay is decent but it's painfully boring. Most nights I just get high and fuck around on the internet or sleep.

your mileage may vary. I was a host at an upscale fine dining place that did mostly reservations and was just open for dinner. Especially at peak hours, the job could be very stressful. Since most people stayed at least 90 minutes, and most tables were booked most of the night, hosting could be an intense juggling act of making sure people got seated promptly without overloading individual servers. Add in walk ins, manning the phone (and taking new reservations), and doing all kinds of other miscellaneous shit, and you had a fairly stressful job, especially if you're a phone-shy, not-quick-thinking introvert.

Any type of night shift security/hotel work is pretty cushty. I'm a night shift receptionist at a hotel.

>Alone for 5-6 hours a night
>Listen to music and occasionally do a corridor check
>Training was 4 shifts shadowing the other night shifters
>Pay is avg, but I can't complain.

I always wonder about jobs like these. Do your superiors care that you just listen to music? Usually when I've worked chill, low-supervision jobs, I've been given busy work that prevents me from really relaxing

CNC operator. Literally stand at your own machine all day and run parts, reload material, check parts, and make minor adjustments. A literal retard could do it.

Friendly reminder that if you take a CDL class from a company, you're obligated to be a trucker for a year.

Depends on the company. Some are uptight about everything because the upper management hates anyone doing anything, ever. Others just want a warm body around to keep away teenagers.
