I work in a business where vendors are frequently trying to sell my team and I products. I recently met a rep who I really like and would like to take out. Would this be ethically wrong? Do you think it would get her or I in trouble?

Bonus question: this girl doesn't live in this state but is close enough that I could make weekend trips and such. I met her two nights ago but she's back in town for personal reasons and suggested we could hang out. How do I push hanging out without making it awkward for future business items if she's not interested?

She's just a rep. Dtae away, but be VERY careful about ethical trip ups.

You will need to be on guard for making choices (buying from her to help her make her numbers) that are based in your emotions versus the needs of the business.

Also, disclose to Boss.
