Of course they would. Noone wants people using government services, but not paying tax. Last time I checked, there were also a shittonne more mass murdering drug cartels and meth labs in Mexico than there were in Canada. It's called using logic. This is where liberals run into their first problem.

I also see no problem with disallowing people from Syria etc, the risks are too high importing people from places like that at the moment.
