I think it depends what you mean by spanking. Whenever a partner mentioned spanking in a sexual context to me for the longest time, I always said I wasn't into it. I pictured the kind of thing in porn where they'd put you over the knee and actually properly spank you, for a while. That's not sexy to someone who doesn't have a fetish for spanking, pain and/or D/s with an incestuous spin. With my last boyfriend he'd just grab my butt or slap it occasionally during other stuff.
