Ive spent almost 2 decades taking an active role in my healing. therapy, medicine, a good career, good friends, good hobbies. I still feel the same as day one, so im thinking it might be time to throw in the towel

From my personal point of view, the only obligation you have in life is to try and make yourself happy. If you find no joy in life whatsoever, that'd be a valid reason to end it, even if there still are people who care.
