Hello adv,
Right now I'm working at Hastings for $7.73/hour. (Normal Floor Worker)
I applied for a job at McDs for a position that pays $9/hour, they haven't called me back and said not to call them. (Literally Anything they'd give me.)
I was also offered a manger position at Hastings for $8.25/hour, under the contingency that I would stay at Hastings till the liquidation was over. (I'd rather not be a Manager, but it'd look good on my resume[Although nowhere has ever asked for my resume...])
Should I reapply for the better paying McDs job, or give up and take the manger position for the time being?

What happens if you quit sooner?

Look at it as an investment in your future. You can relay the management position at Hastings into something bigger.
The McDonalds' job could absolutely be dead-end. And all you're left with is you nine dollars an hour and fry grease.

If I quit sooner, I'd be out of a job.
Unless you mean, I take the Manager Position then quit before. In that case, I'll have lied to and broken the trust of an employer. Aka, not a good thing to do.

That's what I was thinking, but I'm not sure I want to be a manager.
I guess, if I take the job, worse case, I reapply at McDs after the liquidation is over.
I suggest going back to school, or atleast getting some kind of quick trade certification like becoming an EMT. You don't want to be doing these dead end jobs forever do you?
