I live in an apartment in Spain and I just got a corgi/chihuahua mix. As you may know, the weather here is super hot. Should I walk my dog during the afternoon? I am worried that my dog may get heatstroke or his paws may be scorched. Should I only walk my dog during the night?

Feel free to walk your dog in the afternoon as long as there is grass and dirt to walk on to keep his paws from being burned. I keep my afternoon walks with my dog brief because after five to ten minutes, he is panting and wants a drink.
