I am a university student. I currently have this temporary part-time job that I absolutely love. Nobody seems to care when I tell them about my job. Why? Is it because the oldfags in my social circle are past the part-time job phase? Similar to how I don't care how my younger cousin loves Clifford and other cartoons for kids?
If I mention how much I love this job to my older relatives/high school teachers I kept in touch with, will they think of me as native/childish? I mean, nobody enjoys going to work and I think these guys have been working long enough to know that.

It's not that interesting if the part time job is not that cool. They probably won't think that your childish. People do enjoy going to work. If you want to share it, share it. But don't get surprised that no one really cares.
what's the job?

I won't mention my job here as I do not want people to identify me but it is related to my interest.
And it's also nice as I get free buffet lunches, unlimited coffee, expensive treats, etc. I didn't mention this to people I am not close to though as I know that everyone has the potential to become jealous

Unless you're Johnny Depp's personal asswiper, nobody's going to know who you are. You couldn't even give us any interesting details. You managed to bore the fuck out of random people on the internet. Fucker.

that actually kinda sounds like an interesting job. free lunches are nice. lots of places have free coffee for employees but then again, lots don't. sounds like a good gig.
