I was at a bar waiting to be served for a drink when the girl next to me started talking to me. We had a good chat while waiting, then for convenience I shouted her drink while paying for my round. She then asked for my number and gave me hers so she could buy me one in return later. I went off with my friends after and didn't hear from her, so I texted her to see where she was at maybe an hour later and she said she'd left.
Was she interested or did she just use me for a free drink? Or maybe she was interested, but not enough to want to pay a reciprocal drink. She hasn't texted me since, so I'm not sure. Maybe she's waiting for me to. Any thoughts?

it doesn't matter. does it? she either would go on a date, or she wouldnt.
you could simply text her and say
>let me buy you another drink this XXday
if she says
>oh sorry im busy
you say
>what about YYday
>sorry busy too
at this point if she is busy both days and hasnt offered up another day, simply say 'alright then' and never contact her again. she is not interested enough to make an effort.
but you jsut need to ask her. it boils down to
>she is interested, so asking her out is the only logical solution
or
>she is not interested, asking her out is the only way to find out, and there are literally zero repercussions for asking her out, so you might as well

I agree and that is good advice
However I'm actually not too bothered whether she in particular is interested or not, more just want to satisfy my curiosity and know for future reference what it means when something similar comes up
You should stew in anger and grow to resent all modern western women as nothing but money-grubbing whores and post about it here in all your newfound bitterness. Fucking bitches, man, they're all alike.

I like women, even if it was to get a free drink, I'd do the exact same thing in her shoes, so no saltiness here

>just want to satisfy my curiosity
Just text her then and find out, like that anon said.
>for future reference what it means when something similar comes up
eh, it's always different but pursuing her right now will help you out even more in the future, experience and what not.

No man, this type of thinking is typically attributed to women (and "beta" or unconfident guys)
Just find out.
Try.
Fail.
Move on.
Succeed.
Repeat.

each girl is different. some might use you. some might not. some might be drunk and change their minds.
dont think that girls have patterns, you will be wildly disappointed.
Text her with something cutesy like, how bout i buy you another drink sometime

I bought her the last drink. I'm not an orbiter I'm not going to keep offering things, I'll probably just text her this weekend and see if she's out. Don't know whether she's more likely to be happy being texted during the day while sober or already drunk while out
