How strange is it that I love this part-time job of mine? I found the job during my gap year and I work at this company once every year. The job is unrelated to my major and I doubt my work experience there is that beneficial to me due to its lack of relevance. When I tell other people how cool I find the job nobody else cares.

Not strange, it's good to be aware of other areas of interest or talent apart from your major. Perhaps in this very specific work environment there is no real future for you, but that doesn't mean you can't seek out elements that you now know suit you and come easy to you in another job profession.
