Going to be 30 next month. I don't really have a career and work in a shitty dead end job.
Want to change my life around but don't know if it's possible at this point thanks to my age. Basically, my goal is to get into a decent paying career with job security and prospects for continual growth, but I really don't know what I want to do or how to get started.

I guess what I'm asking is, am I pretty much fucked now, or am I able to fix this shit? And if I can, what are the best options?

I was 26 when I got my SIA card (Britfag), when I was In class on the course people who were in their 40s were leaning too.
The longer you leave it the less likely you are to achieve your goal
