Honestly no. Don't dress badly or wear anything to make you look worse off.... But dressing good won't make your face look better.

Just my honest opinion.

Does it make a difference? Of course.

Will it make up for your self-hating personality? Not at all. You have to love yourself, even if you are ugly, for others to see value (romantically or sexually) in you.

Clothes cannot mask the ugliness inside.

It can definitely be worth it, but not if you feel that self-conscious about it. If you feel uncomfortable in your clothes they can't help you.

I would say, think of it as a process. Get an outfit of clothes that are "normal", not too stand-outy, that fit you. Shouldn't be expensive, to start with. Just something you can wear that will help you get used to wearing "non-autistic" clothes. As you get used to it, you can get more and more and phase out whatever it is you don't like that you're wearing now.

If you have the money, get someone to dress you, as it definitely does make a difference. I can't give you any real tips without seeing a picture (even shot from the back would help) and I am no styling expert, but I went from a 5 to an 8 around 18 y/o with just a few changes (new haircut / clothes / attitude).

Yes it does help. So does working out a bit and proper hygiene.

But at the end of the day, it's how you project your inner confidence. Don't overdo it though and become cocky, but you know what I mean.

What do you normally wear? I suggest you find some plain, fitted clothes. Avoid logos.
