I have a Skype interview for a job this afternoon. Would it be inappropriate to mention that I'd prefer they contacted a different reference than one I had listed in my application?
It's nothing dodgy, all that happened was that when I applied, there was a new person in the coordinator's role at my volunteer job, so I asked the former coordinator if I could list her as a reference because the new one didn't know me well enough to vouch for me. Now, I feel like the new coordinator could vouch for me just fine

If you're a woman (which I'm assuming because you've posted a picture of a girl's dress) then you shouldn't be working. You should find a nice man, get married, find a house or flat so you can start a family, and then be a good housewife while your husband is a good husband by going out and providing for you.
You're welcome.

lol references on a job application outside of minimum wage labor is pretty useless.

Firstly what I'm saying is true
Secondly why on God's green Earth do you think this is "your board"?
Lol I'll post here as much as I want mate

What? If anything, minimum wage jobs are where you're least likely to need references. I'm applying for a government job, by the way

lol you kidding right? I went from working a retail job to working an internship job in IT. Barely anyone asked for a reference and if they did it was usually the day of my interview. I have got two internships and went to like 20 interviews. No one has made a call to my references.
