How do I slow down in work?
Today I sent 3 confirmation emails with internship instead of specialist for interviews.
I keep doing this, my mind races a million miles and while I can slow down for 20 to 30 to review and proof read, suddenly im back to rush rush rush!
What should I do? Its making me feel and look like an idiot.
My boss who is training me told me to slow down but how?
Did you make the thread yesterday where you sent an interview confirmation to a reject?

Yes but that worked out, we booked the interview. I really need more images.

This is what I would suggest.
Make a 'pre-send checklist.' For example, it might look like:
>verify the name is spelled correctly
>verify the email address is correct
>verify the letter type is correct
>etc
Then, create an excel spreadsheet. Create a column for each step in the checklist. Each email is now a row. Tick off the corresponding column after you do the check. Do not send an email until you have check off every column. Once you send the email, mark that row as done. When your day is up, you will have a filled spreadsheet to account for your success.

That...sounds surprisingly effective. Thank you anon, I will try that first thing Monday morning. Cheers.
This issue stemmed from bum rushing copy and pastes but I like your system.
