The world is stuffed to the gills with assholes, given how people change on a moment-to-moment basis and whatnot. But there's a lot of shitty people, it's fair to say, or at least, those people aren't getting back to you right now. It's normal for people who aren't really your friend, pretty much.

Make the cut and start anew if people dont value you this much. Been there and have to say that life moves on and there are always enough people out there to make it a beautiful experience.
