What do you guys do to take your mind off a heavy breakup/heartache? I can't fuel myself with hatred because neither of us dislike each other. Working and exercise haven't done anything for me. At most it'll take my mind off the issues for an hour or two while I'm busy, but eventually I'll get into a routine of what I'm doing and my mind wanders while I subconsciously do my job/exercise.
I avoid all areas that I know I could arouse my memory of her, and it seemed to be working for a few days, I was thinking less and less, but the second I saw something related to her I was back into a fucked up style of thinking that resulted in repeating the process from day one.
tl;dr how do you take your mind off a breakup/heartbreak if working and exercise don't work?
just everything. but to an extra degree.
got friends? see em more often.
like going to the bar? go more often.
like watching movies? watch a couple more.
i just ifll up the time with what my life is already rich with.
sounds to me like you need a richer life. exercise and work are two very little thigns.
