Painting a room for the very first time. I tried cutting in, but the results were awful. Got paint all over the trim. If I'm going to be sanding and painting the trim after this, does it really matter? Will the trim paint cover it or have I fucked up?

I don't know, your painting might be a success: looks like a sandy beach, and a lawn-chair by the ocean.
ur supposed to use tape over the trim.

I'm pretty sure that you are supposed to tape the walls when painting the trim, not the other way around. Doing both would be incredibly tedious.

If you're painting the trim anyway then what exactly is the problem?
>I'm going to be sanding the trim
well you may as well restart, laddie. the sanding is gonna ruin the wall's paint. If you want a quality paint job, do things in the right order.
>sand everything
>tape the trim
>paint walls
>tape the walls
>paint the trim
>touch up walls + trim
You must be very vigilant when painting. A job well done looks great.
That grey is too dark
