data science or embedded systems. DS if you want something more laid back. ES if you want a life where yes. you earn a boat load of money. but your life will be a ritalin + rebull shots induced life.

If you just know CS you can work for $100-500k at tech companies ($300k plateau is realistic). I wouldn't bet on these $1m developer salaries anymore.

In finance you can pass $500k in your 30s just with lots of hard work and not so much entrepreneurial luck but the quality of life is lower.
