Would a business degree in finance be good? I'm a 21 year old university student who didn't get into a computer science program last semester. I honestly just wanted it because I'm a nerdy weeaboo who wanted to never let go of games.

I have zero social/work experience, I have no friends, and I'm probably stuck in some delusion. My mother will never kick me out or force me to get a job because she had to work 2 jobs while going to school, and she doesn't want her kids to do the same.

I think my mother has accepted, or doesn't want to accept the fact that I'm a worthless loser. Would a business degree in finance be good? I don't have any special attachment to it, but I feel like a degree in finance can be used in a multitude of places. What can I do to prepare myself to leave home immediately after graduation(15ish months from now)? At this rate, my mother will let me live the life of a NEET and I don't want to burden her anymore.

Things I've started doing:
- Scheduling a week ahead of time in hour blocks that can be moved.
- Limited video game/anime time extremely.
- Started exercising/working on hygiene.
- Started reading on necessary life skills.

My main worry is if I'll actually be able to find a job*

Sorry about my unclear writing.
