Any one a chicken guru here? My chicken might have a broken leg, everything looks (bone wise) and there's no lumps or bumps, and she doesn't squeal or kick when I feel around her leg. She wont put any pressure on it and cannot walk, hep
Everything looks straight* is what I meant to say
Chickens never complain. One of our chickens broke her leg after falling like 8 or 9 feet and ended up dying a couple weeks later.
Take it to the vet.

At least she won't cross the road.
Any guestimations on how much a trip to the vet would cost?

Sometimes they can be over $100. They might give her a brace or meds. Other times they can be under $50 but if you have any emotional attachment to the chicken then I would take it.
So many people on /an/ ask that and they get pummeled into submission every time by the "don't own it if you can't afford to take care of it" crowd which I'm inclined to agree with.
