It must be the mechanism behind how accounts are promoted in their algorithms. Maybe new accounts are promoted more frequently than less active ones. I don't know but that seems like a likely solution. After a grace period of putting you on top of people's list maybe you're brought down a peg or two for other new users.

Local OKC isn't exactly that big usually. It's easy to see a new face and figure out if they're worth your time.

1) unless you live in LA or China, those numbers are skewed af
2) someone who surfs 4Chan, even if you're a broad, won't get that many in 2 days unless you're some kind of normie
